Takshila Learning: Immersive Learning for Kindergarten to K12 in India

Jain, H. & D. Mahajan

Takshila Learning is focused on offering personalized learning to students with interactivity and also employs a gaming experience for solving questions. Our research shows us that students who are remotely located in India do not have access to quality education and support infrastructure after school hours. India’s demographic advantage coupled with Indian Govt. initiatives provides an ideal opportunity to build TEL solutions. Takshila Learning is a mobile and web ecosystem to augment the existing learning infrastructure. Our platform provides on-demand learning through recorded video lectures, video chat with faculty, animated video content and faculty support over call. This allows students to access quality education content from home, while also giving parents complete visibility into the learning curve of the child. The solution has been designed, keeping in mind low internet bandwidth constraints. Participants will be able to view the Takshila Learning website directly and explore the course and information structure.
